Harassment and Decency Policy

IDWCon is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable Convention experience for everyone. Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to unwelcome attention, verbal harassment, deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwelcome contact via any electronic or social media will not be tolerated.  

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Convention Committee immediately. Committee members can be identified by their distinctive green shirts. If you cannot find a committee member, please go to the registration desk or contact our emergency phone number if necessary.

Your reports of harassment or similar activity will be recorded, and the Chairs will be informed. The Convention Committee will discuss the situation internally, as well as with any relevant parties, and a decision will then be made on what action is to be taken. Convention participants violating these rules can be sanctioned or expelled from the Convention at the discretion of the Convention Committee.

Please be aware that not everyone likes their photograph taken. If you wish to take a photo of a fellow attendee please ask their permission and respect their wishes if they decline. Do not upload any photos of attendees to the internet without the consent of those in the photo.

We aim to provide a family-friendly environment, so attendees are expected to act accordingly. Please show respect to your fellow members.
