We are equally delighted that our guest Joe McLaren has also agreed to put on 2 workshops over the weekend to give you artistic types a chance to try your own hand at creating beautiful works of art using scraperboard. Under Joe's careful guidance you will learn how he uses the technique, gain some expert tips and create your own masterpiece that you can bring away with you! You will learn how to transfer a rough pencil image onto the scraperboard, how to suggest light and shadow with various techniques, and the mysteries of 'negative drawing'...
Please note that as this workshop uses a sharp implement, it may not be suitable for younger children and that all young adults under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult for the duration.
