COVID19 Policy

COVID-19 is still with us, and an infection can sadly have highly adverse and severe effects on people. We are aware that many of our attendees may be extra vulnerable to an infection. We want to make IDWCon2023 as safe as possible for all of our attendees. Therefore we kindly ask you to follow these steps:

• Please ensure you are fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 before attending IDWCon

• Please take a COVID-19 test on the day you travel. If this is positive, please do not attend IDWCon for the safety of your fellow attendees. We’re sorry, we still cannot offer refunds in this case.

• Please wear a mask in all events and in queues, if you can.

• Please disinfect your hands regularly.

• Please note that not everyone is comfortable with hugs or physical contact. Please try to maintain 2 metres distance from your fellow attendees, where possible.

• Please have a mask on your person at all times. If you are in the company of someone wearing a mask, please put yours on too, even in common areas.

• If you become unwell during the convention, please return to your room and do not interact with other attendees. Please ring reception if you feel you need to see a medical professional.

We ask you to follow these steps to help protect your fellow attendees. IDWCon Committee or Staff will not explicitly enforce any vaccination checks or mask wearing.

Please note that IDWCon can not take any responsibility should anyone become infected with COVID-19 during the convention. Please stay safe. 

Please note that memberships are non-refundable and refusing to adhere to the COVID19 policies will not entitle you to any refund.
